The Centre's Research Agenda

CYDS has a number of on-going research priorities encompassing a range of different research settings, aims and methods. The Centre conducts both quantitative and qualitative research in the development of its research aims and agenda. The Centre's existing and proposed research work falls into two broad categories:

1. Drug and alcohol prevention and policy and
2. Drug prevention in community settings

This section locates each of the Centre's existing research projects within this broad framework, whilst also canvassing ideas and priorities for future research.

Recent Research Highlights

The Centre has worked on a number of exciting and innovative research projects for a number of different funding bodies. The centre's funding partners include the Victorian Department of Human Services; The Department of Justice; VicHealth; VicRoads; the Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation; the Transport Accident Commission, the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, the Myra Stoicesco Charitable Trust and the City of Melbourne.
